Ready for rehoming…
Burley was adopted from our care in March 2018 but sadly we received a telephone call on Thursday 27th of February to inform us that his owner had passed away. Burley was adopted along with Paddington, and they both meant the world to their owner as their owner often mentioned that “both boys are my children” and were very much spoilt.
Burley came into our care originally as a stray in October 2016 when he went wandering into an empty property, luckily someone was in the property at the time and managed to contain Burley by picking him up for cuddles. He was scanned for a microchip but no microchip found and steps were taken to try to reunite him back with his owner. Like many cases Burley’s owner has never been found and Burley was placed up for adoption.
He is a chunky fellow, who loves cuddling and playing with his toys. Burley will play with most toys and will love to play with you all day. After playing Burley’s other best thing to do is laze around and would love to lay in the sun.
Burley get on great with other cats his age but does like to push his luck with them at first, but once he is settled down and gets to know his boundaries he is fine with other cats.
Burley does require a special urinary diet, due to a urinary track issue shortly after he came into our care in October 2016. He has been receiving a urinary diet since and has had no further issues.
